I get up early this morning like I usually do to get Natalie ready for school. (Neil was up too of course) Neil says "there's snow on the ground". There's maybe 1/2 an inch, maybe. I was like ah, no big deal. There's hardly anything there. No problem. Neil is driving Natalie to school and I get a call from him that the schools are delayed 2 hours cause of the snow!! Grrr. Like I said, 1/2 an inch. Ridiculous. Since school was delayed, that meant Sean didn't have preschool at all. He was very much looking forward to it after the long Christmas break, and being in Disneyland. Poor guy. So we went to Albertson's and the boys got cookies and they looked at lobsters instead. Very exciting morning.
Sam, my darling child, is into EVERYTHING these days. I know it's the age, but honestly the older 2 were not anything like he is. He just has to explore, and navigate and find out what he can and can't do. And how far he can push his limits. So earlier I was trying to sweep and mop the kitchen. Don't ask me why I tried to do this while he was awake. So, he kept taking the dustpan while I was trying to sweep. I kept telling him to leave it alone and go play in the living room. He doesn't listen. So I put him in his room on a timeout, with the gate up at his door. So he starts throwing shoes into the hallway. :sigh: Finally I let him out, and he decides to get on the kitchen chair, and dip his hand in a milk cup from lunch. :sigh again: Boy do I love him but he's gonna give me gray hair before I'm 30.

Blog Bandwagon
Well, I've decided to jump on the blog bandwagon. I forget things so easily these days (one of the hazards of having 3 children), and think it would be nice to have some sort of record of our daily (or semi daily) happenings. I can't promise that it will be terribly entertaining, but I will try my best!
